It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school website. Cedarwood Primary is a friendly school situated in the heart of the Kesgrave community. Our staff, pupils, parents and governors are committed to achieving the highest possible standards. At Cedarwood, we value every child and aim to achieve Excellence and Enjoyment for All. Children’s happiness and well-being is paramount and we seek to develop confident, creative individuals who share a passion for learning.

Our curriculum is carefully planned to bring the subjects of the National Curriculum to life so that pupils develop their knowledge and skills in a way that inspires their curiosity and equips them for their futures. The success of the school can be seen in our well-rounded, happy and confident learners, who move onto high school well-prepared for the next stage in their lives.

I am very proud of our school and hope this website will offer an insight into life at Cedarwood.

Are you looking for a school place?

We understand that choosing the right school for your child is a big decision and we’ll do all we can to support you with this. If you are looking for a mid-year admission in any year group, please contact our friendly office team by telephone on 01473 612981 or by email to admin@cedarwoodprimary.org.uk to arrange a tour of our school so that you can see what Cedarwood has to offer your family.

Do you have a child starting school in September 2025?

Children born between 1/9/2020 and 31/8/2021 are due to start school in September 2025. Applications must be made by 15th January 2025 and further information about the admissions process can be found on the Suffolk County Council website by clicking here.
