A Warm Welcome From The Headteacher

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school website.  Cedarwood Primary is a friendly school situated in the heart of the Kesgrave community. Our staff, pupils, parents and governors are committed to achieving the highest possible standards. At Cedarwood, we value every child and aim to achieve Excellence and Enjoyment for All.  Children’s happiness and well-being is paramount and we seek to develop confident, creative individuals who share a passion for learning.

Our curriculum is carefully planned to bring the subjects of the National Curriculum to life so that pupils develop their knowledge and skills in a way that inspires their curiosity and equips them for their futures.  The success of the school can be seen in our well-rounded, happy and confident learners who move onto high school well-prepared for the next stage in their lives.

I am very proud of our school and hope this website will offer an insight into the fantastic things happening at Cedarwood.

Tuesday 2nd November, 9.30am or 1.30pm

Wednesday 3rd November, 7pm

Suffolk County Council's website also has lots of information to help you apply for your place. Please click here for a step by step guide to applying for a primary school place for 2021/2022 - this will give you details of how to apply, under Step 5.

Places available from September across the school
We currently have places in our Foundation, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 4 year groups, although SCC are continually processing applications that may change this situation. You do not need to live in Kesgrave to apply for a place in our school and we are always pleased to have the opportunity to welcome new families to Cedarwood.

Take a look at our video to see our school!

Kesgrave Climate Change

Kesgrave Town Council is working in partnership with Groundwork East, which is supported by ‘Suffolk – Creating the Greenest County’.  They are asking resident’s to complete a 5min on line survey to help understand how we as a community can lower our carbon footprint.  KTC have  set up a dedicated webpage; www.kesgrave.org.uk/climatechange/  where resident’s can complete the survey and obtain lots more information on energy saving at home.
