We are looking forward to the return of all pupils on Monday 8th March and have lots of exciting things planned for them!

Please see the attached document for our return to school next week.  As a reminder, please also continue to let the school know of any positive cases of COVID-19 by emailing our dedicated email address of covid@cedarwoodprimary.org.uk

Pupils, parents and staff have all worked as a team throughout Cedarwood to ensure that children were able to continue learning and working in an exciting and fulfilling way. Throughout the school various online platforms have been used to create engaging live lessons. For pupils in Year 5 recently, this was by written work, joining in nationwide live lessons, watching astronauts on the ISS, having a guest speaker and reading 'Cosmic' by Frank Cottrell-Boyce.  They produced a stellar array of amazing work prompted by the book and their growing knowledge of space...which resulted in a Q&A session with the author himself ! !

The whole learning community has risen to the challenge of a new way of teaching and learning.  Both from home and at school, pupils have joined together on-line to continue as close to a normal time at school that we can offer.  We are really pleased with their achievements through such a strange time, and look forward to welcoming everyone back from Monday.

A Warm Welcome From The Headteacher

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our school website.

Cedarwood Primary is a friendly school situated in the heart of the Kesgrave community. Our staff, pupils, parents and governors are committed to achieving the highest possible standards.

At Cedarwood, we value children’s happiness and well being and seek to develop confident, creative individuals who share a passion for learning.

We value every child and aim to achieve Excellence and Enjoyment for All. Our curriculum is carefully planned to bring the subjects of the National Curriculum to life so that pupils develop their knowledge and skills in a way that inspires their curiosity and equips them for their futures.

The success of the school can be seen in our well-rounded, happy and confident learners who move onto high school well-prepared for the next stage in their lives.

I am very proud of our school and hope this website will offer an insight into the fantastic things happening at Cedarwood.
